I recently got myself a Stormblade, and I have no idea how to do some white (turret) and red (chassis) plate armour, which will do the model justice, any tips? (Without spraying please xD)

This is what I would suggest:
-Start with a white undercoat
-Paint The white panels with a very light pure grey or blue grey
- Edge highlight this with pure white
- For the red panels start with a darker red like khorne red
- Edge highlight with wazzadakka red
- For making the dark lines and tiny areas I recommend a dark brown / black pin wash
- An if you are going to spend the time to make it look battle worn, I reccomend you look into weathering powders and/or chipping solution as well as checking out the tonne of YouTube videos on weathering.

Hope this helped

sorry. It will not be possible to get a large vehicle done well without spraying. I've done large surfaces before by painting REALLY thinned out paint onto the model. I think the method is called glazing? layering? whatever. I'd lay down thin color along one grain. Let it dry overnight, same color again along a different grain. Let dry overnight. Repeat. it's time consuming, and there's no guarantee that the warping of the surface won't mean that something will pool in one place or another, ie: at every fething rivet. If you aren't as insane as i was about hiding brush-strokes, then, do it any way you please.

But I'm still not sure what you are asking. Shiny new spit-polish paintjob, or red and white camo?

By no spraying do you mean no airbrushing?

I've you haven't got an airbrush, then Army Painter does a line of coloured sprays - I guess these may help for the larger parts of your model (I've never used Army painter myself, but I intend to switch to them - cheaper than GW sprays :()?

My FLGS just ordered in a load of Army Painter, and I might go over in a couple of days to grab some, if I get some I'll PM you and tell you how they work out? :3

In case this helps, This article has some tips on painting vehicles without an airbrush.
