Hey all! I remember reading something about how someone wanted the heavy destroyer to have more weapon options, as destroyers are supposed to be these crazy maniacal psycho robots that just want to put weapons all over their body. I think GW shoulda at least given the heavy destroyer the option to have a tesla destructor, maybe even a particle shredder.

Also, I think modelling the heavy destroyers this way would be pretty cool. I've seen a couple of conversions where someone had a heavy destroyer with a tesla destructor, and they looked amazing. Not the necrons are going to get an update anytime soon, but it should be something that should appear in the future!

A tesla destructor!!!!11111ONE!!!!!!

That would be a bit overpowered unless it cost 40 points or so.

Remember that the tesla destructors we are used to are all twin-linked. A regular tesla destructor is not twin-linked.

However, I believe a Tesla Cannon is a more sensible option for destroyers; maybe have the tesla destructor as an option for heavy destroyers, instead.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

Yes. Tesla cannon for normal, and Tesla destructor for heavy. Otherwise it just looks silly.
