Options are in primary/secondary. I can't really decide and have been turning between these two schemes for a few days. I want an Iyanden themed army (so it will be mostly Wraith-things and Guardian based), but I find primarily yellow schemes to be unpleasant to the eye. Just wondering what you guys think would look best. As a side note, they'll have nearly no Aspect Warriors, or very few at least, so most of the army will be in this color. They will also frequently ally with my Dark Eldar, who are Nagarroth Purple/Kabalite Green.

Bumping just for more opinions.

Also, for further information - I made my army list, it's pretty much made up of various Wraithguard types, two Lords, one Knight, a Farseer, Spiritseer, Hemlock, 6 Jetbikes and 2x5 Rangers.

An additional question: Should rangers be painted in this scheme, or should they use a more camo theme?

Iyanden color theme is growing on me, but I hear what your saying. I am going to do an Iyanden list, and go with yellow and blue. I think once complete, it'll look amazing and i'll really like it.

Its a tough call really, And is a reason I havent started an Eldar warhost yet in my hobby life. I simply can't decide how I want to paint them.... so untill then I shall wait hehe
I voted green's as its something I don't think is common except maybe with biel tan, but theyre half white. And were probably going to see a lot of red eldar soon too

Rangers would use the traditional color scheme for the armor but their coats are camo material that adapts to shifts in conditions.

Depending on how hard you want it too be, theres a bunch of different ideas. I'd try something like a gloss white: really hard to do flawlessly, but you could add an off-white pattern to the armor pieces. Another (slightly easier idea) would be a blue/green theme. My fiancee is painting hers vibrant orange and baby blue, and they look sharp (orange markings on baby blue and royal blue).
As an overall idea, if you are going wraith heavy and want a really original idea, I have thought of filling in the helmets of all the troops to look like wraith helms (sort of like the spiritseer).

A bone colour would work, with blue as a secondary. Here are some shots I did of a commission along those lines.

Obviously imagine blue helms for your iyanden.

What paints did you use for that bone color? Edit: Nevermind, I didn't read the text on the right. Thanks for the tip, I'll definitely consider that scheme.
