Having seen the new eldar models coming out I got the urge to Bandwagon and pick up a wraith detachment to be used as allies (or their own force) for some of my games, my orders are arriving slowly and its given me a chance to paint up one of my new Wraithguard models in my own scheme for testing. Aside from a god awful decal that wouldnt settle right on the headpiece I'm really happy with how he turned out. C&C is welcome as always.

I think he looks good! I like the scheme. You also did a great job on the base, looks really cool and matches the colour scheme really well if you ask me

Very nice, I have to say I hadn't realized how many spirit stones are on one of those new models though. Looks like a city block or two worth or spirits in that one Very nice scheme and I love the base!

Thanks guys, this is my first eldar model for a good few years, I really like the newer wraith stuff and it makes a good break from doing marines/guardsmen for a while. I figured the blue was kind of icyish so worked well with snow.

Decal sadly, I wish I could do that by hand. Its also the decal thatcaused a day long fight with decal medium trying to de-crease it and in the end resulted in me calling it a day on it.

Very nice, like the blue scheme although not 100% on the black helmet with the blue. Stupid amount of spirit stones on those things, looks like he has measles [not your painting, it's the sculpt]. Maybe that's why 'Eavy Metal didn't bother painting them for the release?
