I'm not sure with what to do with those last points, add one Warlock? Drop the Farseer and add more Guardians?

Any thoughts?

Troops! You need more Troops! By Khaine's Bloody Hand do you need troops!

I don't see how you can even think about winning an objective based game with only 20 dudes in 5+ armour and no mobility to speak of on them.

Some Small Guardian Jetbikes which you can toss in reserve would go a long way to helping out with that.

a Council would be a huge help as well, you would be able to pass out shrouding to your guardians for sure, which gives them a lot more staying power in ruins / etc. So you are guarenteed to get a good power for them per warlock.

Drop your hawks, yea they are fun, and skyleaping blasts is fun. But your list is not built for that. You don't have an Autarch to all but guarentee they come in when you need them. And you are horrendously low on troops. Ditch those Hawks and spend those points on Troops, all of the saved points. Troops and a Warlock Council to help your Guardians be better Troops.

What would you suggest I add for troops?

My available list of troops/models you've mentioned is 10 more guardians with a platform, 15 Dire avengers, 4 warlocks, 10 Wraithguards.

Dire Avengers aren't bad if you can get them a wave serpent. I will be testing a squad so we'll see what I think later! I am planning on going with 9 guys, an exarch with a shimmer shield for a 5++, and in a Wave Serpent. We shall see. I mainly want to test out battle focus and the new bladestorm rules.

More Guardians are also a solid choice. Ultimately I would try to squeeze in a few more Wave Serpents for your Troops as well. Since you don't have jetbikes you will need a way to cover ground to get to objectives, and Wave Serpents offer you that ability as well as offering up a significant amount of long range medium strength shooting, which can go a long way to defeating pretty much everything except the hardest infantry and tanks.

At the very least I would drop both hawk squads in favor of a Lance Guardian Squad in a Wave Serpent, and any other points into as many Warlocks as you can squeeze. Having conceal on a squad camping a home objective could be very helpful.

I would also drop the Exarch upgrade from the crimson hunter, as it doesn't add anything to the survivability and might let you squeeze in 2 Warlocks for your Guardians. They improve them a lot, and troops are currently your weakest link. A regular Crimson Hunter is still a fearsome anti aircraft unit and much more reasonably priced at 160 points!

Maybe I should point out that this is what models in this list that is still in the "to get" pile, which might change depending on what changes I make.

3 boxes of Scorpions, 2 Boxes of Hawks, 2 Fire Prism's and Karandras. I might get 20 guardians with platforms, 5 Avengers, a War Walker and a Serpent for a really cheap price (200 SEK, by comparison the Eldar Battleforce is 889 SEK). So let's say that I get the cheap deal and drop those Hawks, and if I can get a 'used' Karandras I could instead buy another Serpent and maybe another prism, dropping 10 of the scorpions in this case and move more towards the mech route, perhaps even getting a second Crimson hunter?
What do you think of this route Akean? With the buffs to the Wave Serpent you can kinda look at it more like a Tank with transport capacity rather than a transport. So perhaps Mechdar have become more valuable?
Changes would be something akin to dropping all Hawks, dropping ten scorps and dropping one squad of guardians. Then add two squads of 10 DA in serpents and a warlock for my Guardians to hold a backfield objective, then depending on points left after this I could either add a Crimson Hunter or Fire Prism/Night Spinner.

Thoughts?

PS, I'll make a mech list soon.

If I would drop one DA squad I could either replace it with: 2 Guardian squads with Lances and a warlock each OR one Guardian squad with Lance and Warlock plus a Holofield Nightspinner or Crimson Hunter. Thoughts?

Assuming I go for two Guardian squads I'll have 30 points left, if I go Guardians Nightspinner I'll have 45 points left and the Crimson Hunter would leave 15 points to play with.
