the title says it all: can you turbo-boost with the relic?

the mission (on page 131 brb) says that you can't run with the relic, but never says you can't tubo-boost. It does say that you can't move more that 6" so obviously you would have to turbo-boost no more than 6.

have I missed anything saying that you can't?

If I have please tell me what.

I would like to know what you think.

As I read it, yes you can Turbo-Boost, but like you said, no more than 6".

You can indeed turbo boost/flat out with the relic, as Valkyrie said, six inches.

Only thing that aint allowed in the shooting phase is to Grab the relic by running to it, or run with it.

You can't run with the relic, so technically yes, but practically no.

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

Vanished Completely

It is one of those things that make the Relic one of the worse types of maps to play on, but that is personal opinion.

Rules as writtlen are clear, the limitation is on running and running alone but it isn't the only thing to focus on. There is a word they use in the same paragraph outlining this on page 131. That word is phase and given that there is three phases per turn you see why the flat-out movement during shooting has a lot of support as it is clearly intended by this wording. All you need is a transport and off you go to victory most of the time as you can outrun most of the things trying to catch up to you.

8th made it so I can no longer sway Tau onto the side of Chaos, but they will eventually turn aside from their idea of the Greater Good to embrace the Greatest of pleasures.
