In all of my research (sadly I don't own the codex yet) I have heard NOTHING about wraith blades! They seem so awesome to me but I worry that people aren't talking about them yet because they can take a glance and instantly decide against them... hopefully it's only becuase they haven't been play tested much yet. What is your guy's opinion on these awesome looking models

Slow, with no access to Assault Transports. Minimal number of attacks, and they only have an Invulnerable if they take the Axe. T6 is nice, but they'll still crumble against most dedicated assault troops. Which is what they'll be up against because they can't move fast enough to get stuck in to shooty units.

Maybe useful, but I'd still take them with guns.

In fact, Wraithguard with cannons or D scythes is the way to go.

I think Wraithguard with Ghostswords is the way to go. 2 S6 AP3 attacks , 3 on the charge. That will wreck every single ordinary troop in the game. They beat Lychguard in close combat. The only things they really lose against are Terminators and some MCs.

With a Spiritseer in there you will usually get a 3+ cover against AP 1,2,3 shooting, and another power that could be very useful (better WS, armour save, strength.

They're not a must take unit, but they work at least. The same can't be said about Banshees and Hemlocks. I'm gonna use 10 Wraithblades with swords on foot. Charge up to the enemy, remove troops from objectives.

Are they cheaper than, wraithgaurd? if they are they would be great for objective defense.
