Here is my idea for a blood angles army but I'm new to Warhammer 40k so I would like some feedback and suggestions from experienced players please.
125 - Librarian (JumpPack)
075 - Sanguinary Priest (JumpPack)
225 - Assault Squad (2 x Meltagun + Power Sword)
225 - Assault Squad (2 x Meltagun + Power Sword)
150 - Predator (Autocannon + Lascannon sponsors + Stormbolter + DozerBlade)
150 - Predator (Autocannon + Lascannon sponsors + Stormbolter + DozerBlade)
[50 points spare]
All suggestions and ideas are much appreciated - Thanks.

Pretty standard hybrid mech. I'd give one squad of ASM flamers. Maybe buy a MM attack bike.

Ok Thanks - What about replacing one meltagun from each squad with a flamer? That would mean the firepower would spread across the table more but I'm not sure about that.

never under-estimate the awesomeness of feel no pain multi-melta attack bikes. I would definitely agree with the above comment to use your last 50 pts to bring one in. otherwise if you can ink some pts out with the flamers (I always roll double melta in my assault squads but I play with a small group so the meta is pretty controlled) maybe slap in another jump pack sang. priest?
also I think it might be worth trying at least 1 baal predator in your list. when you make a blood angels army think about what makes the blood angels unique. the Baal definitely stands out.

Yeah, but I'm not sure how good the Baal is for the price.

If you wanted to you could also go for a lib Dread instead of one of those preds. 175p take shield of sang and wings you've got a dread to give cover saves to those squads no matter where they are and wings to keep up with the assault squads.
but thats just me im a fan of lib dreads.

What about an epistolary - seeing as the psychic powers are now random (or that is what i've been told) - to fill in the 50 spare points?
Is there another HQ option that would be better than a libby? - I still want it to roll with one of the assault squads though.
Thanks

The problem is that a level 1 libby is always better than an epistolary. Especially now that Runes of Warding got nerfed into oblivion as far as divination is concerned.
At this point, there is really only one BA HQ choice to maximize efficacy for your list: level 1 libby. It's boring, but there it is.

So what exactly makes the libby better than the epistolary? If there are 50 points spare then the libby "might as well" become an epistolary? - Thanks

I see your POV, but i think an attack bike will serve you better than an extra psyker level.

What part will the attack bike serve within the army? ie; can it hold objectives, move faster/keep up with assault squads etc? - Thanks

MM attack bike is anti-tank and anti-teq.
The librarian's primaris divination power is very similar to the reclusiarch's buff except it works on your turn and your opponent's turn and for shooting. It does not allow rerolls to wound, however. But it can be used over and over without having to assault. And the libby is cheaper. And can take an AP2 weapons instead of AP 4.

Attack bikes have TL bolters, and a multi-melta which can move 12" and shoot, or skip it's shooting to turbo boost and go 24". Every time it moves it gets a 5+ cover save too (4+ for turbo boost). It can easily keep up with your assault marines and pop a transport so the marines can shoot/assault the guys inside. They can't hold objectives, but they have some great firepower and are decently resiliant (T5, 3+ armour, 5+ cover, 2W).
I would go with that.
