If a Chaos Sorcerer is changed into a Daemon Prince does the Prince/Sorcerer no longer count as a psyker?

I don't think this is in the right sub-forum. But no he is not a psyker. You get a basic daemon prince, no upgrades.
Per the FAQ, you don't keep any effects from previous boon table rolls, nor do you keep the effects of the mark on the model, if it had one. If you don't keep those, I believe they mean for you to be the 145pt daemon prince in the codex.

I love Warhammer 40000 and if you want to try to spoil that for me, or impose your own vision of it onto mine, then you can go suck a lemon. |

I think I would straight up house-rule that he keeps psyker, that aint cool.
I love how worthless this upgrade is for HQ's, because it makes them worse! At least the fantasy version kept the equipment.

Just because you lose previous boons and the mark doesn't mean psychic power goes too. I do think it is weird the mark goes and instead isn't turned into daemon of.

It says to refer to the Spawnhood result with a few exceptions. Per Spawnhood you lose any special rules. Per the FAQ, Spawnhood, and Dark Apotheosis, you lose Mark of X and become a DP of X.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Orks always ride in single file to hide their strength and numbers.

Yes, you do become a 145 point daemon prince. Yes, this is stupid. Yes, you do lose EVERYTHING. Yes, you MUST challenge, even with your 1kSons Sorcerer.
