Thanks again!

Sadly, that won't fit, unless I exchange more Avengers for Guardians. Which brings me to

I worry that your Warlord is in a very fragile squad (whichever he joins). I would probably combine the Jet bikes into 1 squad to accompany him.
Get more Warp Spiders (
Id say the same to anyone without 30). They are a massed fire power unit they need numbers. They are also great
AA and Wrath control.
I agree with others a second Prism will do more for you than the nightspinner.
It is a lot of points but perhaps the D-Scythes are worth looking at on the Wraiths?
Agree with most of that.
I have bad memories of Guardians in serpents, because they are so vulnerable to explosions. The 40 points difference per squad buys a lot of survivability, LD9, 4+ and most of all 18" range. As explosions are now less likely, maybe I should give this a go.
Already play-tested the Spiders in a small game and they were easily the MVP. I'd like to run more as well. I could drop the Crimson Hunter for more Spiders, in an average game that would benefit me more. However, my biggest fears are Helldrakes,
FMCs and stuff like Annihilation barges and other high
AV stuff. I think the Hunter would help me with these more?
You are right about the Warlord. The only fix right now I can see, is him joining other squads during the game if his own is depleted.
Nightspinner: Barrage means I can snipe Ethereals,
ICs in blobs and instagib them. I can stay out of
LoS if needed. Can
ID Wraiths. Has a Torrent flamer on a fast chassis. It still is s8 vs most vehicles in the game (always side armour). Can hit multiple vehicles (
IG parking lot), it's harder to get a cover save from barrage as well (jink saves still work I guess, but an
ADL or regular cover from obscurement often won't.)
A Prism will kill
MEQ/
TEQ better, and land raiders. But all the Monofilament and Bladestorm will also help vs those targets.
I think all this is sufficiently different from a Fire Prism to not double them up?
I'd love some D-Scythes, but can't find points for them
I'll revise the first list, exchanging Avengers with Guardians, and see if I can use those points to address the stated issues.
Thanks all!
