Hey I am looking for someone to ally with my GK army, it is two ten man terminator groups with max psycannons and halberds, led by a librarian (possibly coteaz). I am wanting to ally something with my GKs to compliment them, I would prefer to go with IG, Space pups, or Blood angels. However I would also consider tau. Can someone let me know what a good ally would be to add to my army? The idea is to use the GKs to get into the thick of things and take down MCs and use the ally army to provide some heavy shooting, by heavy I mean massive amounts of firepower.

I will also use this ally army to match up with a purifier list.

edit: If dark eldar ally with them I would like to try them as well, I'm new to 6th ed so I dont know all the rules yet

I'd suggest taking Imperial Guard, Space Wolves, Blood Angels, perhaps Tau or Dark Eldar.

Guard, Tau, Eldar or Dark Eldar.

Tau would be my first choice.

So they all ally with grey knights? And tau would be best?

Tau is best for *him*. There is no one best choice ~ even 40k isn't *that* simple. Proxy them all and see what works for you
