Has any one played Remember Me yet? Reviews are mixed and the Metacritic score isn't bad. Just looking for hands on opinions.

I have it but I probably won't get to it till the weekend. Chatter seems to be leaning towards a short single player game worth playing but not buying, i.e. a rental. I'll find out on Saturday XD

Hopefully I'll get money this summer to buy it. Reminds me of Oni, and that game rocked.

Judging from the reviews, I'll wait until it's on sale.
Shame too, since if it sells poorly, Capcom will judge it based on it having a female protagonist alone.

The game also falls under Capcom's silly "Made by a western dev team" category.

Played it for a while (2-3 hours). So far a little boring but maybe it will get better when all the skills are unlocked and enemies will be harder than: "push whatever and they die".
The memory rewrite bit was quite enjoyable, the rest is 'meh'. Too early to tell something about the story.

Thank you for that comment, Melissia, I knew there was something else drawing me to this one.

A friend of mine said it was pretty good, and recommended me to get it as well. Edit - He did mention the dialog wasn't the best, but not bad enough to ruin the game or make it unplayable.

To be fair, the last game whose dialogue I unambiguously liked was the Mass Effect series. And only femshep, not manshep.

It looks like Oni visually, but plays nothing like it.
I'd say it's a bit slower Arkham Asylum with gadgets on time-stop menu, so it's not that dynamic. Combos stop when you change target, so you end up jumping above the same guy instead of dodging using the space and positioning.
And you do want to finish combos because basic punch deals like 15 damage and you can get over 400 easily with a 6 hit combo (while also healing yourself or decreasing cooldown on "gadgets").
The fights look dynamic but they don't feel like that while playing.
Also there is quite a lot of Prince of Persia climbing, but you have indicators where to go next so it's not that fun.

Story and characters look cool so far; I'm almost getting a kind of Deus Ex feel of it all. Granted, I only got to Episode 2 and just finished my first Memory Remix, but at least for the time being I'm certainly not regretting the purchase.
It's a rather consoley game, and it shows in the fiddly controls as well as the good-but-not-as-good-as-possible graphics, but I reckon if I was able to get used to it, anyone could. I just hope I manage to keep up with those combos; it's just not a type of game I usually play.
Oh, and the protagonist is awesome. Great character design (facial expressions ftw), and great voice-acting. Nilin alone makes me rate this game at 4/5, whereas otherwise the aforementioned port issues would make me only give it a 3/5.

Just had my first proper boss fight. Tough stuff, but soooo rewarding in the end ...

Badass finishing move. Nilin really doesn't hold back!
Anyways, some more impressions: potential buyers should certainly not expect something like, say, Mass Effect. This game has no dialogue options, and the maps are very railroaded with not many options for free movement. On the plus side, they are beautifully designed, and the whole thing plays pretty much like a super-intense movie. Kudos to the level artists, they really made something beautiful here - and I dig Neo-Paris as a setting:
