I was working on a list for a game next week and haven't played at this point level for a while, I was thinking of fielding something like:

10x Tesla Immortals
1x Overlord(Orb, MSS, And Weave, Scythe)

10x Tesla Immortals

3x Tomb Blades(Veins, Looms, Particle Beamer)

2x Doomsday Ark

I just got the arks and the Tomb blades so I want to use them, and I really want to avoid using flyers since its just a friendly game.

And it looks like a nice list to me, although I should hold my hand up on the fact I rarely go to tournies and win in them even less.

However, I do like the look of it.

Sorry about that, I would have sworn I had clicked the army list forum link. I am not really concerned with winning at all costs, I just know the other player is a lot more experienced at 40k than I am so I wanted a list that could do well.

I do like the look of your list, a blast template spam! I take it you're gonna have doomsday do your heavy AT for you? Squeeze in a triarch stalker at higher point games and you can TL those blasts!

I think this is either going to devastate who you face or get wrecked. I don't see much middle ground.

Those arks are gross, when they can sit still. However you don't get your jink save. If you move them the gun is poo. 72" is nice but in all but one deployment most things with 48" range can still hit you turn one. I would for certain split them up, and put them on different sides of your deployment. Make them pick one or divide their forces.

FMC's/flyers deepstiking CC units,drop pods, and av14 ( like raiders with lascannons) will likely give you trouble. If they can get to those arks in the first few turns it will leave you fighting the rest of the game uphill.

But, I think on the flip side, you get the right set up and after a few turns of bombing 2 s9 ap1 pie plates... there could be nothing more than a few random units running for cover.

I would drop 1 doomsday ark and spend the freed up 175pts on 2 more Tomb Blades and an Annihilation Barge.

The extra TBs will allow them to live a bit longer while applying more templates on a unit.

The AB provides more tesla goodness on any target without too much fear when moving it around. Also, being TL Tesla, AB will help address anyone who brings a flier to the game. Yes S7 is weaker than a stationary doomsday cannon; however, adds mobility and and a bit more versatility.

I would also consider dropping your tomb blade upgrades to just the particle beamers; this would free up 45pts of your current 3 TBs. I would also be prone to drop the Res Orb from your Overlord too. That, combined with the 45pts already freed, would give you 75pts available to add a MSS, SW, Scythe Lord to help tank your other squad of tesla immortals. Personally, I haven't had luck with a Res Orb (i usually role 5+, rarely do I roll 2 4's to justify the cost of the orb) and having a 2+ save up front helps the survivability of tesla immortals a lot.

i would personally drop the Tomb Blades. that gives you 150 points. That's enough for a Stalker. if you can squeeze another 15 points, I would put a TL HGC on said stalker, mark your target then enjoy dropping 2 TL S9AP1 Plates on that unit. if it isnt dead at that point, youre doing something wrong.

Also, if you manage to get a hit on a FMC, enjoy the TL 6s cheese of AA Immortals

I think for friendly game wraiths and scythes spam aint the best solution.

I like the list. Im not a fan of footslogging necron troops neither d.ark but i think it gonna all work well for friendly game purpose.
