Where is this referenced as far as deepstriking?

Last weekend had a game where my deepstriking Tyrgon scattered and about 1/16th of an inch of his base was off the table and was told to roll a mishap.

Just wondering if there is anything that clarifies, does it say:
-any part of the base
-cant balance on the table
-25% of the base

pg 36, any of the models would land partially or fully off the table. so any sliver of a base will mishap

As sirlynchmob said: pg 36 under the Deep Strike Mishaps section on the right hand side. "...one model would land partially or fully off the table, ..."

1/16th of an inch is still partially.

Thanks,

I'll just have to be more careful estimating distance if its close like that.

That small of a distance I would call within margin of error.

You don't need to estimate; you can measure anything at any time you want.

Maybe shoulda phrased different. When looking at the scatter dice and moving the model, the 1/16th of an inch would have been avoided by a hairs different angle on the tape measure. I just did the move quick cause I didnt know that little bitty edge off the table made it count as "landing off the table".

I'll be more careful in my measuring now if its a close call.

If you roll scatter in a box squared off on the table you can move it as close as you can to get the most accurate line.

ADD causes my posts to ramble from time to time. Please bear with me.

... or part of model if the model is larger than the base's imaginary cylinder.

True, I play with too many oblong skimmers and forgot that Tyranid deep strikers are MCs for some reason.

Relevant rule (which is butchered in the coherency part of a ruin) is found on page 4.
