Remember they don't get to assault on arrival. So most any gunline will eat them. I see the average gun line or mech guard giving you fits. DE will clean sweep your troops. Problem is the you elites are all starting off the board.
I'm aware of that. Lictors are there for surgical strikes, counting on the rends to pop vehicles.
DE vehicles have crap armor and they will put anything else down in my army before I reach them anyways.. I think lictors have a better chance against
DE venom than Hiveguard do. I see 9 biovores giving Tau/
DE gunlines a lot of trouble once their troops are exposed.

It's fun though! At least it isn't cookie cutter and lictor models fulfill the s^&% out of rule #1!
I'd be more concerned with necrons in this case, and thank you!

With Ap- it will also struggle against power armour. They will turn up, do average damage and then die horribly I'm afraid.
Maybe take deathleaper as a single model as he is useful even when he doesn't engage?
I like the 9 biovores as a great horde killer but you do have literally nothing that can harm a flyer.
The lictors are there to prioritize flyers and with everything in my army hitting flyers on 6's anways it only makes sense. They will simply appear next to flyers and go to work and let the biovores take care of the contents.
