First go as an Eldar player at this.

It's a little generic, but imo, it has a fair amount of dakka and enough support synergy to pull out some wins.

Farseer - 100
Always with Guide, Prescience and some other power.

20 Guardian Defenders - 270
Warlock with Conceal, 2 Scatter Lasers.

20 Guardian Defenders - 270
Warlock with Conceal, 2 Scatter Lasers.

Fire Prism - 140
Holofields.

It's very basic, but it seems to be a good starting point.

I like the list. A good "get the bodies on the field" style list.

IMO - drop 1 scatter laser from each guardian unit and replace with a star cannon. Star cannons got a lot better this round and are the same price as the lasers. You only need 1 laser to twin link the entire unit (including the other weapon).

With the scatter lasers twin linking the guardians, the only thing that needs guide/prescience is the fire prism. So I wouldn't get both guide and prescience as it's a waste of the psyker.

Getting other div powers would help (precognition is good for the farseer as is the 4++ for a unit). Also don't count out the other warlock powers. Conceal is a good fallback for guardians, but things like +/- 1 armour save is nasty as is the extra run movement power allowing your guardians greater mobility when using battle focus.

So far the effectiveness of 10 Wraithblades with Ghost Axes:
Tanked 2 Leman Russ squadrons (including the battle cannons and the triple plasma variant); whilst also getting wailed on by everything imaginable in a Fortress of Redemption. Only to get into CC with the tanks and open them up.
2000 points worth of Necrons with Forgeworld additions. Got into CC with a court of Lords and opened them up.
Killed a GUO.
Killed Angrath the Gargantuan Bloodthirster in an Apoc game (with the help of Iranna the Spirit Seer).
Ate a Hammerhead, pathfinders and scored after 3 turns of walking towards a 2000 point Tau gunline and overwatch!
And counting............

I would drop one of the Guardian squads for some jetbikes personally. Gives you a little more mobiilty (could stick your Farseer on a bike if you have the points as well)

I wish the Laser Lock did twin link the entire squad, but it only works on the model that fired the Scatter Laser.

I see your point on Starcannons now though, I'll give them a try. Losing two shots per unit to gain AP2 is quite a good deal.

As for the EJB, I am not a fan. Until they faq them, EJB cannot use Battle Focus. It's either Boost OR Blast for them. I can see them working as objective grabbers, but in small games it seems to be more important to get more bodies on the ground.

Battle focus does nothing for GJB true (dont expect that to change on faq) but you get a marine that can move 48" in a turn, can JSJ and has a twin linked rending gun for 17 points!! The jet bikes are brutal.

The big squads of guardians are still paper thin. I know a 3+ cover most of the time helps but they'll fold in assault to anything.

What's your plan to deal with vehicles? Just the Solo Prism? Why not some BLs in the squad for same cost as your heavy weapons and now they're bs4 they can work.

Take the Magic: The Gathering 'What Color Are You?' Quiz.

Yes my Colour is Black but not for the reasons stated mainly just because it's slimming... http://imperiusdominatus.blogspot.com

Just the Prism.

In my meta we don't have too many vehicles at this points level.

One guy has a Land Raider, another a Leman Russ, but no one else brings a big tank or anything similar.

The DE player has a lot of raiders or venoms, but SL can deal with them.
