Very good defence with Lysanders special ability and the aegis. That results in a 2 or 3+ save which is excellent. It is very good but you will have to eliminate all anti cover weapons of your oppositions first and foremost. (eg. Whirlwinds, Thunderfires)
Stermguard are worth it, and they should go with Lysander. BTW Lysander is awesome. I Would get more combi weapons on the Sternguard. Flamers are useful for overwatch, meltas are great against vehicles and plasma is great against terminators which Sternguard have a tough time against.
You heavy support is good. The tanks got squishier in 6th edition, so maybe use some of the ADL near the thunderfire cannon and vindicator and use Lysanders special cover rule on them. A 3+ armor save for the thunderfire cannon, 3+ cover save as well and toughness 7 will block most attacks on them.
A footslogging tactical squad will die very quickly so I suggest, even though it is only one squad walking, get a rhino or find some transportation device for them.
Can you please explain your tactics and general strategy so I can help decide what might work better and where you can improve. Automatically Appended Next Post: Use the terminators to weather a lot of the damage. They and Lysander can take some serious pounding.
The scouts are good manning the ADL, but I would put some of them in the middle with teleport homers to get the 3 drop pods and the assault terminators with Lysander in there as quick as possible.
Or another thought. Drop the stormraven. Get a land raider and put Lysander and the sternguard in there and drive around rapid firing everyone. Get the scouts teleport homers for the drop pods and deep strike on their heavy support while useing combi flamer sternguard to toast everything. Once the Land raider dies. Disengage Lysander from the sternguard and charge the closest unit, freeing up the sternguard. The Land raider will be able to do a fair bit of damage. Everything will either be sudden, or it will be heavily armored. Imagine the toasting all of the orks with land raider flamers or a firestorm cannon and then charging to end them. I think this could work really well, or just use your oriiginal list if you don't have a land raider.
For a tournament this list covers all areas. You will see a lot of eldar with everyone using new and powerful units, and making the most of 6th edition changes. Sternguard can still deal with most threats and so can TH/SS termies. Eldar don't really have an answer to thunderfire cannons. It is a versatile list and should do very well. Just always make sure you have an answer to fliers. Somme people will love them and take 3 or something ridiculous, and some will take none.
No matter what, If you get Lysander to challenge their main HQ, or even just get him into combat, you will get a good result. Very good and versatile list, and I expect you to do well. A word of warning. Don't get too uptight on doing the same strategy every time. If, no, when the game demands it, it will demand it, don't be afraid to change your tactics and your strategy. It could win you the game.

Thanks for the great reply Ork Marine!
My general stratergy for this list is fairly much like you said to try deploy the ADL next to or around a ruin so i can put the thunderfire and scouts in there and maybe even the vindicator and get the 3+ cover.
Generally my stratergy is to set up ADL hiding thunderfire, scout sq and vindicator, while the untransported tact sq deploy behind any other cover or behind the ADL as well, then drop sternguard and dreadnaught mean whilemove the vindicator and untransported tact sq up field. turn 2 hopefully bring in Stormraven and 3rd drop pod to drop near any other dangerous vehicles or an objective , Turn 3 move footslog tact sq towards an objective, if stormraven is carrying terminators drop them off
I did think the untransported tact sq may be a problem but in some cases they will man the ADL and the scouts will infiltrate on to an objective or advantageous position, while most of the time they will footslog up field but i will try not to start moving them out of cover until turn 2 where hopefully my sternguard, terminators and dread are diverting most the attention.

Can't you put the footsloggers and dreadnought in the storm raven?

As far as scouts infiltrating onto objectives and the like, its never really worked for me. They would have to be lucky to stay around from turn 1 and still have it at the end if its anywhere other than in/near your deployment zone, which they wouldn't exactly need to infiltrate for. I've had greater success reserving them, placing an objective on a board edge and outflanking hopefully later than turn 2. I've also had greater success not taking them to begin with... But with you're loadout of them, they seem destined to hang behind the ADL so sure.
I would not take 2 combi weapons of different types. They wont do anything. I generally find plasma underwhelming on sternguard. If you are going terminator hunting, do it with something else. So either meltas or flamers, maybe 4/4 or just all melta.
I imagine the raven has lysander and the terminators in it? I would probably look at getting an accomplice to it, not a raven as you're HS is full so a talon instead.
2 units I'm worried about are the dreadnought and then vindicator. The vindicator is very lonesome with no vehicles around so I imagine it going up in flames. Regular dreads aren't that great, especially deep striking. So I would either take it as an ironclad or not at all.
So I would take ironclad in the DP, 4/4 combis on the sternguard, and a storm talon. To pay for it; loose the vindicator, PW on sergeant and the scouts if points dictate. With regards to that TAC squad without a transport, I really dont know. A rhino wouldn't work so probably have to go with a DP? Still not really feeling it though and a gunner for the quad is needed. Maybe they'll just have to stay at home, I'd give them a ML/flamer in that case or a plasma cannon if you feel adventurous.
