Here is my situation: I just managed to trade away (almost) the last of my Cygnar (thanks Bartertown!). Sadly, it's a less than ideal trade. Let me explain.
Here's what I already own (or am getting in the mail presently):
• pSorscha
• pButcher
• Juggernaut
• Destroyer
• Man-o-Wars (Full Unit)
• Widowmakers
And here's what I'm getting in this new trade
• pSorscha
• Juggernaut
• Destroyer
• Man-o-Wars (Full Unit)
That's a lot of doubles. So... I have some choices to make. I was hoping that some of you all who know Khador better than I do can help me out.
The poll above pretty much outlines what I see as my options, but to elaborate...
The destroyer can either stay a destroyer, be partially ripped apart and used to make Black Ivan, or be ripped apart and converted in some other way (marauder, decimator, etc). For context, I am very curious about Harkevich and plan to purchase him as soon as is practical.
The juggernaut faces a similar choice: stay a juggernaut, get kit-bashed into Beast-09 (looks difficult, but not impossible), or likewise converted into another juggernaut-chassis 'jack.
The man-o-wars, on the other hand, are in a very different situation. Either I'm going to keep them - which will give me two units - or I'm going to put them back on the block.
I don't really see a use for Sorscha. She's going back on the block. I don't think I've got much of a chance of trading her off - what with her being in the battlegroup and the two-player starter kit - but I'll give it a shot. I know a guy who wants Khador bits for Skorne scenic basis - maybe he'll want to make a dead Sorscha sprawled across some beast's base? Anyway, we'll see.
Anyway, where I have actual options; what do you think I should do?

For the Men-O-War if its 2 units of shocktroopers get rid of one, if its 2 different units keep both and get a unit of Kazay, Iron Fang Pikemen, or Winterguard Infantry. Men-O-War come in 3 flavors: bombardiers, demolition corp, and shocktroopers, all have their uses but they are slow.
Khador does trick people into expecting unstoppable armor with both starters for them but they need their small based infantry. That's why with what you have your next purchase after dealing with these is to get a reliable unit with bodies and more importantly speed.

I'd say definitely ditch the second unit of Men-o-war if they are the same, as you need a bit of diversity in your infantry to do well with Khador. Although I voted for you to keep 2 destroyers, in retrospect I would say change one into Black Ivan, since you get a bit of a boost in RAT and DEF, which makes him a bit more survivable and able to contribute a bit more to a ranged strategy. I've never really seen the Juggernaut do anything great on its own, while I have seen Beast 09 wreck people's faces with extreme prejudice, so based simply on anecdotal evidence I would say the Beast is the route to go.

keep the two units of manowars. you'll get basically nothing for them if you trade or sell, and they help with pbutchers tier list. if you field two units, theyre speed 6 on the first turn. when you get more models, i'd probably not field both, but I have two units, and being able to put 10x 8-wound, armor 21 models on the field is really mean in some situations. keep the juggernaut. it has the best ability in the game: cheap.

With regards to the destroyer, black ivan for a 1 point upgrade is a godsend. +2 def, boosted ranged att with hark, dodge and board control options from the claw. What's not to like? Ok.. +2 def on a khador jack brings its score from laughable to "meh" but still... I'd never take hark without him.
The second juggernaut is your choice but it's handy nonetheless. The manowar though? As mentioned if it's two of the same you're probably better off swapping those unless you want to run pbutcher theme.
