Ok! Got a tournament coming up in a few months and I'm trying to put together my initial list to start testing. Keep in mind this is a first draft, and I would welcome any opinion or criticism, no matter how small.
2250 points with double FOC, Allies and some ForgeWorld allowed.

Primary (Imperial Guard)

HQ:
CCS - Creed, Astropath, Fleet Officer, Vox Caster, Regimental Standard, Lascannon (240)

Troops:
Infantry Platoon (665)
PCS - 4x Meltagun, Krak Grenades
5x Infantry Squad - 5x Flamer, 4x Vox Caster, 1x Commissar w/ Power Sword
Sergeants - 5x Power Axe, 5x Melta Bombs
Heavy Weapons Team - 3x Autocannon
Heavy Weapons Team - 3x Missile Launcer

Infantry Platoon (290)
PCS - 4x Meltagun

Basic idea is to load up the blob with divination and/or biomancy buffs during Kill Point games (4++, Full BS overwatch, Endurance, etc), depending on what is rolled for Psyker powers, and to have everything else just be super spammy. Obviously, the blob will be great for taking down infantry units with rank fire, and the rest of the list will be for popping armor and taking down MCs and heavier infantry. With the option of Jaws or 6e powers, and the option to break up the platoons into smaller groups, I'm trying to keep the list as versatile as possible.

The only things I'm really unsure of at this point are the second IP (20-man with mortars), and the Grey Hunter squad. I feel like it would be very easy to waste either one, and they're both rather points-heavy. Obviously, the two PCS will go in the Vendettas and try to grav chute by some armor/MCs. Depending on what I'm going up against, I'll either be depoying really far back (against assault-heavy lists), or putting the guard much closer to the front (against other shooting armies).

Anyway, comments? Criticism?

Just so ya know for a blob of guardsmen you only need a vox from 1 infantry squad so I saw you through a commissar in one squad which means you are probably blobbing somone up somewhere but you have tons of vox casters.

Yeah... I usually figured I would need them in case some get picked off. But I guess with 6e rules you can just put them in the center of the group and it won't matter.
The only consideration there was playing objectives games, it might be reasonable to break one or two squads off for backline objective holding. But that seems unlikely, especially with the other two squads that could be used for that.

Could use those 20 points to upgrade the mortars to autocannons... or give the CCS camo cloaks or something.
