This has a good number of long range poison shots (60). 4 Flamers with variable AP to dig things out of cover. 11 Dark Lances and 5 Scatter Lasers with Star Cannons that they can twin link. Further it is highly mobile with many scoring units and solid close combat when necessary. Apart from the high number of kill points what are the weaknesses of this list?

I figure against fliers I can twin link two ravagers with the Farseer and use the Walkers/Vypers. If necessary I can also snapshot the rest of my weaponry without twinlinking.

Nice list !
However I would drop some dark lances from true born to get some warpspiders , some twin-link S7 shoots are golden against flyer, which will destroy this army
also I dont think those Acothyst,/upgrades worth it , IMO they are not solid close combat units .(they can only kill tau/guard with small number)

Second on your trueborn units...they just seem a bit out of place. With the old Eldar dex, dark eldar brought affordable lance weapons on BS4 platforms. Now, eldar have cheaper lance weapons that are far more mobile and also BS4. The rest of the list is mobile and tough, while these small units are just easy targets.

I would put night shields on every platform you can take them. They are well worth it.

Also agree about acothsyt upgrades. I swear by them for big wrack squads, but 5 wracks is all about the liquifier and CC is a last ditch. An acothyst gives Ld for big squads and cool toys, but here they just sink points.

If you are going to have a scissorhand, put it on the hamey instead of the acothyst, it is a better place to invest the points.

Farseers(and all eldar psykers) should have singing spears. Well worth the points.





The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.

Updated list. Thanks for the comments. I disagree that the wracks are a poor combat unit, they are excellent against high T units, but I agree the upgrades were excessive for a counter attack unit.

Thoughts on the modified list?
