Hi all. I'm reading Descent of Angels from the Horus Heresy series of novels at the moment, and being a collector of Dark Angels it's giving me some modeling ideas. I am thinking of modeling some Calibanite knights supplicant, SM scouts on Bretonnian horses with some medieval styling, counts as scout bikers. What do you think of the idea? And tips on how to carry out the project? Is there a picture of the knights supplicant in the DA codex?

There none that I recall. Also horse count as bike is oot in my opinion. Finally you will need to ally with SM to field scout bikers.

People have proxied horses as bikes before, but I don't really think that it looked right. Also, you'll really have to convert the horse heavily to get it to look as grimdark as the DAs.

Why don't you ally Guard in? You could do a squad of supplicants on foot (Veterans) with a cheap command CCS or Commissar, and then take a squad of Rough Riders, still using SM scout models (maybe with more tabard/robes). Maybe combine the SM scout kit with some mounted Brettonian squires?

It's not even a very big points cost, since Guard are so cheap!
