Lesser Daemon of Chaos

So I'm trying to put together some Obliterators for my chaos army, problem is I don't want to field a bunch of ugly ass monsters, so I'm trying to think of a good conversion, my chaos army is vaguely lizardy (Malice based apparently he is a big lizard) but I'm also open to any ideas or options to make cooler looking obliterators
So far my ideas are
Converted Ogres
Converted Sentinels
Converted Techmarines (old metal ones)

"I prayed to that corpse for a millenia with no response, what makes you think he'll answer you?"

Not sure how well this'd work out in terms of size or posing, but I suppose if you're going lizard-y you could do a Kroxigor with guns or a Chaos Marine with a massive arsenal hanging out on the back of a Lizardmen Salamander.

Forge World Thallax are a possibility, if you like the robot look. They are about the right size and their lightning gun looks weird enough to pass as some form of multi-role energy weapon.

Took me a bit to find em.
http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/New_Stuff/MECHANICUM_THALLAX_COHORT.html
They're in the Horus Heresy section, under Mechanicum Troops.
Edit: I think the reason it took me a bit to find them is that I read an R into it which wasn't there, so I typed "Thrallax" into the search.

That's an ogre head with a lot of green stuff work.
I typically see people bulking up Chaos Terminators, then converting the hell out of them with green stuff and spare weapon bits.

Terminators usually do the trick. Personally I used Ogres and a bits box. Pretty effective.

I love you.
These are on par with scibor, maybe a bit better.
The obits you posted are spot on and there are even a few perfect sanguinor models that I would consider purchasing, even as a non BT player

Terminator sized. They're pretty explicitly made to be Obliterators.
That said I can't stand the Hitech sculpting style, but if it floats your boat more power to you.
