Will we be seeing any releases covering some of the Late War comers, like the pershing or the Comet from BF?

Does anyone have idea or inklings about what BF will do with this period? Or is the East now going to hoover up all content for the next 12months?

Bf will probably make us wait until fall or Spring. But their is a Supplement out for flames war,Called late war Levithans,It covers the LAte war VEhicles made by FIB. i have a copy it is pretty decent.I got it from a Spanish forum some time ago.
I guess another factor would be if BF has made any of the TAnks before and discontinued them.Like the Caliopee tank.

I thought in BF's start if year plan that Berlin was going to be towards the end of this year

Funnily enough we are just writing 'Battlegroup - Fall of the Reich'...

No doubt PSC will release something or other to go with the books release this autumn... I could say more but why spoil the surprise.

To be honest, I'm just looking forward to replacing my Challengers in the Cromwell Platoons with Comets..

But I'm kind of fed up of Firefly's versus Panthers and Tigers.

Didn't replace the Challenger...

Replaced the Shermans in the armoured regiments of 11th.

The Armoured Recce kept there Challengers and Cromwells till the end of the war I think.

So the other Div Regiments (e.g the Brigaded Regiments) were running Cromwells with Sherman Fireflys then?

Then replaced the Sherman fireflys with Comets?

The Comet wasnt designed to replace the Firefly directly as such, it was just the final development of the cruiser line, so it was seen as a standard medium tank really, and one that was hoped to be a match for the German Panther.

Only 11th Armoured were fully equipped with it by the end of the war. In early December 1944 the 29th Armored Brigade was withdrawn from combat to replace their M4s with Comets. This was interrupted by the Ardennes Offensive and the unit got their Shermans back to go and counter the German threat. In mid-January the 29th Armored Brigade was again withdrawn from combat to resume re-training. The 23rd Hussars, 3rd Royal Tank Regiment, and the 2nd Fife and Forfar Yeomanry were reequiped with the Comet.

The 15th/19th The King's Royal Hussars did have their Cromwell and Challengers replaced by the Comets eventually.

Most units by '45 had a second Firefly in each troop to increase AT capability, and frankly the Comet arrived far to late to have any major impact on events.

Damn I was quite looking forward to fielding some Comets, but it looks like if we get the chance they will be severely limited in numbers.

Sadly yes... Think they went back into the line early March '45 with the Comets, so limited in scope for actions.

They did have an interesting scrape with two out of fuel elephants and a Tiger I though...

Knowing battlefront you will be able to field a comet company, simply because people like tanks and they can be sure comets will sell well. Same thing for the pershing probably.

Lord shoot me down...It was Wikipedia believe it or not..The battlefront atlas, it has Diagram for every 15 days of WWII from 43 onwards. Really useful for our purposes.

Since when has historical availability ever stopped Battlefront?

Fair one, with that in mind they will probably see this stuff from HEER 46 and decide they need to release their own LOWE's and e-75's, IS-6's etc etc.

You are not the only one.I got a lecture about the British rifles i bought off of Ebay.
