Slippery Ultramarine Scout Biker

I've been attending play sessions at a local game store, and thinking about getting back into 40k after some fifteen years.
I put together a Vanilla Marines list, and figured I would post it.
The games are usually 1500 per side, and the meta seems to be a couple of troops choices, and one or two heavy hitters, although the one Chaos player likes to mix it up.
Here's what I've come up with:
Terminator Chaplain with Storm Bolter.
6 model Terminator Squad with 1 Assault Cannon.
3 Tactical Squads, ten models each, one meltagun per squad, Sergeants have Storm Bolters and Power Weapons.
Three Predators, all with TL Las turrets and Las sponsons.
I'm pretty comfortable with everything, even though I know there are some debates about bikes, drop pods, and so on.
What I'm not sure about is the Terminators. They attach to the Chaplain, who makes them Fearless, but I feel their best use would be as a hunter/killer unit, which implies a transport. Problem is, I'm at 1495 with the above, so to stick a transport in, I would have to remove some combination of Predators or Tac sqauds.
Should I use the points to put them in a Transport? If so, where do you Dakkanauts think I should shift the points from?
Or, should I removed the Termis altogether? If so, what should I do with the points?

Personally I would say use the predators as Autocannon turret, lascannon sponsons, drop the power weapons on the sergeant, theyre done in combat anyway, and I like captains better than chaplains, but in this list Vulkan might not be a bad idea. If you do take vulkan replace the terminator's autocannon with a Heavy Flamer or take TH/SS termies

If they were assault terminators, I'd say get a transport. As they are tactical termis, just deep strike or walk across the table shooting stuff. If someone gets too close, you charge and work them over with the powerfists. IMHO a librarian might be better suited to this role, as he does more when wandering around shooting, but the chaplain does work (and looks cooler). If you can find a spare 5 points, grab a chainfist.
I'd rather see the tacs in rhinos then with tricked out sergeants. Stormbolters, in particular, are not worth the points in this edition. With the changes to rapid fire, a normal bolter works almost as well, for free. Don't forget your free heavy weapon for the squads either.
I'm a big fan of the auto/las pred. The all-LC ones are just too expensive at the moment. If we get a price adjustment like the DA codex, I might revise my opinion. But 45 points is just 5 points shy of a MM attack bike. You can have the bike rolling around hitting heavy armor while the auto/las sits back and pops other targets.

Hi and welcome back to 40k
in 1500 pts I would only take 2 TAC troop choices.
And as said above, TH/ SS terminators needs their Redeemer, the Tac terminators dont. But Chaplin with TH/ SS is awesome
And maybe take Flamers in the TAC, since they are for free.
I would also swap one Predator for a ThunderFireCannon, they are sooo good at just 100 pts. 4 blast ignores cover, or make enemy tanks take DT if moving, and 60 inc range is good.
In fact I would take 2
What about Fliers?

How about combi-weapons instead of power weapons? Maybe flamer/meltas, since I don't trust myself to roll the "gets hot!" save, and the flame template adds some emergency horde control.
I have been thinking about taking a flier, but I'm not sure where I would find the points. I like the redundancy the above list gives me, and my local meta is flyer-poor right now, so I don't really see the need at the moment.

I would drop the 6-man termy squad to 5 and drop the las turrets to auto in order to buy 3 Rhinos for your tac squads.
You're going to hear a lot of hate about transports and vehicles in general lately. 6th edition introduced hull points, allowing vehicles to be glanced to death. Coupled with rapid fire weapons now being able to shoot while moving, some say why bother. People will whine about giving up first blood or easy kill points. These are things to consider.
BUT.
Rhinos give you priceless mobility. You can combat squad and put the melta half in the Rhino while the other half sit on an objective with a missile launcher (or other heavy weapon of your choice).
It's up to you but I think these changes would improve the list.

If your meta dont have Fliers, then dont bring them It will only make them take fliers too, and they prop will have better fliers than you
BUT if you want Fliers, you could try this list:
HQ
Chaplin w. Terminator armour: 130
TROOP.
10 x TAC w. meltagun, multi-melta, combi-melta, + rhino. 220
10 x TAC w. flamer, missile launcher, melta-bombs+ razorback w. ยด TL heavy-flamer. 240
ELITE
5 x Assault Terminator w. TH/ SS. + Land Raider Redeemer. 440
FAST
2 x Storm Talon w. Skyhammer missiles. 250
HEAVY
1x Thunderfirecannon 100
1 x Predator w. autocannon/las sponsons. 120
Thats your 1500 pts.
Chaplin goes with Terminators in Redeemer.
Melta TAC goes in Rhino and could treaten tanks.
2 TAC cpmbat squad with ML staying back. rest in Razorback.
Your TFC fires away together with the Predator.
Storm Talons can help soften enemy up before TACs get there.

Combi weapons on sarges are worth it. The common wisdom is to take one that matches the squad. So run a MM/M squad, with a c-melta on the sarge, and a ML/F squad with a c-flamer. That way when you roll up and hop out of the rhino, you get two shots of whatever goodness you are packing on the squad.
In a 1,500 point list I like to run two tac squads in rhinos, and a 5 man sniper scout unit to sit back and camp my home objective. Using the scouts instead of a third tac squad frees up some points for other toys.
If your meta is flyer light, don't worry about them. Your answer to flyers at the moment is either to ignore them and focus on the rest of their army, or massed ground fire. While I think the full LC preds are overpriced, you do get to toss 4 dice hoping for a 6 if snapfireing at flyers, and nothing with wings likes getting hit with a lascannon.
