I've been into 40k for a little while now and im looking into getting an airbrush. Im not sure where to look, what to look for for miniatures, or what a good one would be. I've reqd that the GW airbrushes is alright but has its draw backs (would prefer not to use propellant cans). Any advice as to where to look that won't cost a fortune?

The GW airbrush is a kids play thing at best. Dont buy it.

For the price they want to sell you that for, you can go onto ebay, and get a cheap $20-30 dual action gravity fed airbrush with a 0.3mm nozzle that is infinatly more useful.

Cans of compressed air, again are a joke. A spare car tire with appropriate valve, would be better, but air compressors are the best way, for the price of what 10 cans of air at $5-10 a pop you could easily get a small desktop airbrush compressor.

I often hear about a 50% coupon that you cna print off for either hobby lobby or michaels... this can save you a packet on your airbrush purchase if its still available. something to look into.
I'm not from USA (the flags wrong hehe) so couldn't say for sure, its just something I see recomended a lot with airbrushing threads.

'Ain't nothing crazy about me but my brain. Right brain? Riight! No not you right brain! Right left brain? Right!... Okay then lets do this!!

I've recently started airbrushing and I got all my stuff form amazon, it's not the best stuff but for starting out it's good as it allows you to practice without blowing a load of money.

I've been using this one and for the price it's pretty good.

I use the new air by iwota and love it! I cant do fine details with it. But the basics and a lot of high lighting it rocks with!
