After having ignored my orks for about a month now I thought it was about time to make a new list for them except with allies this time, ideally its a list that's not super competitive but still reasonably capable of winning.

Big Mek - 90pts
KFF, Kombi-skorcha

20 Shoota Boyz - 130pts
Big Shoota x2

19 Shoota Boyz - 124pts
Big Shoota x2

Battlewagon - 140pts
Deff Rolla, Big Shoota x4, Red Paint Job, Grot Riggers

CCS – 85pts
Master of Ordnance, Mortar Team

Infantry Platoon –
Platoon Command Squad – 50pts
Lascannon

Infantry Squad – 70pts
Lascannon

I'd honestly suggest cutting the wagons and going for a purely infantry army.

Battlewagons are largely an anti-tank unit and for once we have an Ork army with more than enough AT dakka.

As they are, even two of them with a 5+ aren't going to last very long. If you cut them, those Lascannons the other guy dished out for are now totally useless.

With those extra points you could get more guns or more boys, maybe some of those sabre gun platforms I'm hearing so much about, or one of those hideously powerful IG big guns?

Alright well this is what it would look like if it didn't have the wagons.

Big Mek - 90pts
KFF, Kombi-skorcha

30 Shoota Boyz - 195pts
Big Shoota x3

30 Shoota Boyz - 195pts
Big Shoota x3

CCS – 85pts
Master of Ordnance, Mortar Team

Infantry Platoon –
Platoon Command Squad – 50pts
Lascannon

Infantry Squad – 70pts
Lascannon

Infantry Squad – 70pts
Lascannon

Aegis Defence Line - 100pts
Quad Gun

Leaving 145pts floating about for either: drop Kombi-skorcha for 10 Lootas or Leman Russ Battle Tank, Marbo and 20 Gretchin w/ 2 Runtherds (then I could use Gretchin as a shield instead of KFF so I could get a Warboss), or maybe some weapon teams and something else.

Yeah I'm a firm believer that the KFF is overrated with or without Grots. Just think, to earn its points back, it'll take on average 43 or so wounds against boys outside of cover, which is where they really shouldn't spend that much time anyway. And even then, all its done is give you 85 points of durability, with no bonus to mobility, point capping or firepower like 85 points of boyz or anything else would. Not to mention that flamers bypass it...

Definitely drop that kombi-skorcha, because shoota boyz don't want to get close enough for you to use it! I wouldn't recommend the Leman Russ for the same reason I don't recommend the wagons ~ give your opponent even one vehicle target and he's earned back the points he'd have otherwise wasted on anti tank weapons.

Lootas could be good, and I'm a sucker for Marbo tbh plus those Gretchin would be a great objective holder.

Personally I'd add heavy weapons teams to the IG. Make a gunline with your IG and reinforce it with your Orks. Use the Orks to handle any deep striking/outflanking assault elements that try to wreck your Guardsmen. Throw in 1-2 Grot Bomm Launchas for mandatory barrage pie plate goodness (seriously, even just one pie plate is a huge psychological deterrent!) Its a match made in heaven really.

145pts left? Drop the MoO and get a manticore. 10pts left over, a flamer for each IG squad. I wouldn't bother with ork ordnance if you have IG backing you.

If your attack is going too well, you have walked into an ambush

The easy way is always mined

Unfortunatley can't do Marbo with Allies
and the other 145 ..drop the kombi and take 10 lootas ..that will give your opponet a couple of things to concentrate on besides the boyz and the lascannons..making for a very nice TIDE ...

This is a list with the 145pts incorporated, my thoughts on it currently is that I might just take a Big Mek with a bit of armour and a pole as opposed to the boss just because I don't really need him but I put down the Warboss because I don't want my warlord to die as easily as a Mek would.

Warboss – 80pts
Boss Pole, Cybork Body, Big Choppa

30 Shoota Boyz – 195pts
Big Shoota x3

30 Shoota Boyz – 195pts
Big Shoota x3

20 Gretchin w/ 2 Runtherders – 80pts

CCS – 85pts
Master of Ordnance, Mortar Team

Infantry Platoon –
Platoon Command Squad – 50pts
Lascannon

Infantry Squad – 70pts
Lascannon

Infantry Squad – 70pts
Lascannon

Heavy Weapons Squad – 75pts
Heavy Bolter x3

Aegis Defence Line – 100pts
Quad Gun

1000pts

Model count not including the Defence Line is 111.
