Hey guys, I'm thinking of updating my paints (actually I pretty much have to, all mu paints from the early 2000s have dried up,and had to be thrown away)

I missed the redesign with all the Foundation paints, but I'm thinking of stocking up on the new GW paints.

One question though, are the new inks good? I remember I had a pot of Red Ink, and I still have it, and it's still good, but I remember it dried very shiny, which is not what I want.

Is the new Carroburg Crimson (or any of the washes) any good?

Do you mean the washes? They are not like Inks at all. They do not cover in the same way, they find their way into the recesses much better, don't blot as much and are a mat finish.

Hope that helps.

no, they are not nearly as strong as inks.

they are very good actually. nice vibrant tints. the one that i like least is carroburg actually, it's almost like a black wash. Id rather have a red wash that intensifies my reds, not makes them look more dull. Baal red was better.

ive also been mixing the old line with the new line. aggrax earthshade mixed with badab black 50/50 = amazing
