Didn't see a thread for this already, but Microsoft is giving out free games every few weeks (2x a month) to people with Gold accounts. Go to games>Browse>Featured. Right now its Fable 3, but later this month is supposed to be either Assassins Creed 2 or Halo 3. Great for us poor folks

Being that I am a PS+ subscriber, I get the idea. . .but paying for a service that gives you games does not make the games free.

Alot of us have Gold accounts already, these games arent really worth going and paying for

This is interesting... so how does this work exactly... do I have to keep gold to be able to play the games? I've been gold since the beginning of xboxlive and hope to stay gold for a long time but in the event that I can't access gold or even xboxlive itself am I shut out from playing the game?

Same here. But, from what I understand, Fable III was pretty "meh"...I'll probably download it regardless since it's free

Well I have them both too, but I expect an influx of some new players for Halo 3. Might be fun to jump back in for a bit. I'm sure it will feel super weird coming from 4.

Where do we find the good games, because right now all I see available are crappy kinect titles.

I already have Halo 3, but don't have AC II (never beat the first one, got boring) and would like to play Arkham asylum and Fable 3.

Oh, it is. After I played through Halo 4, I decided to play through the whole series again...I didn't realize how much different the controls were!
