Alright, this is a pretty gakky Imperial Guard list. It's Death Korps so I wanted to use a lot of artillery and mortars, and mostly weapons that have a counterpart in the real world so few fancy ones. The fancy ones here would be the plasma guns. The Deathstrike is there because it's pretty damn awesome, even though it sucks. Half the army sits behind the Aegis while the other half goes after objectives in the mid-field. The Commissar and the Regimental Standard provide two important leadership improving bubbles to keep the army from running off the board.

Anyway, how could I improve this army? Does it have any obvious weakness that needs to be fixed?

Death Korps of Krieg: 7000p

I thought Death Korps couldn't take Valkyries/Vendettas?

Looks like he's using the regular codex, just with DKOK models.

I would stay away from the deathstrike, take a manticore instead, you get them in the same box so... whynot?

Basilisks are good, but you haven't exactly got many at 2000pts to be chucking out a lot of hurt. You've got elements of artillery, fast mobility and of course foot guys. For me, I dont see the fast attack options as fitting in too well. So I would probably take the points from the fast attack and put it into artillery.

You're infantry are equipped pretty poorly. I fail to see the purpose of the veterans when they cost a lot more and there are plenty of infantry squads that could pick up their role. So would probably loose them. There isn't much anti tank, I would loose the mortar HWT and instead take them in the infantry squads but as lascannons. Chuck them into the current gl squads, but loose the gl's as they are mediocre and get something like plasma or melta instead.

If your attack is going too well, you have walked into an ambush

all over the world

The death korps do have viable footslog builds but these are with regards to the new rules in IA12 and you would have to lose a few of the armoured vehicles you have.

Yeah - if you wanna do the foot-slogging thing, your best bet is to have a look at IA12 - if you're cool with FW rules.
