I only play 40k and was looking for some new scenery. I ran across this piece on the Games Workshop site, but can't quite figure out how big it would be. Is it large enough and visually suitable for Warhammer 40k?

And on that note, is there any sort of terrain anywhere for whole (not-ruined) sci fi style buildings?

check out this kickstarter, might be what you are looking for for terrain.

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/rolljordan/maki-games-high-quality-modular-wargaming-terrain

Otherwise Mantic just finished a kickstarter and they made modular terrain as well, but can't get any yet.

Also you can look up Spartan Games - http://www.spartangames.co.uk/

GW has a few building kits. You can use the parts from it to make full buildings and mix and match to make some big impressive ones.

You can also build your own out of foam core, cardboard, plasticard, or whatever you have handy.
