Hey so i'm a new 40k player trying to expand my army to be more competitive, I currently have:

Pedro Kantor
Librarian termy

2x 10 man Tac squad w/ ml, flamer (1 with drop pod)

2x 10 man sternguard squad w/ all combi's (2 drop pods)

2x stormtalon

Now i'm wondering what to put in for heavy support, and I was wondering what you guys would see as a better choice. Either two predators with las sponsons and a TFC or 2 stormravens with typhoon launchers and TL cannons. I asked a similar question in the lists forum but never recieved a response. I'm also quite open to suggestions on any equipment changes you think I should make.


Now for the second part of this post I am looking for some advice on how to play against the new eldar codex with this list as I'm getting smacked around by the new fighters and wraithknight...

Considering pretty much all of your current list starts in reserve (assuming you don't want to drop empty pods) I would go with the preds and TFC. I haven't used preds much but TFC is a solid choice for nearly any SM list.

I haven't played against the new eldar yet so I can't help with your second question.

TFC and preds. The TFC is awesome, one of the best things in the codex, really.
The auto-las pred is decent and point efficient, but if you get them, magnetize them. I expect we'll see their cost drop with the upcoming new codex. At that point you may want to make them tri-las.

I second the TFC/pred setup, I only own one TFC but it's made its points back every single time.
