Looks powerful. I'd drop 2 firewarriors so you can take a shas'el with markerlight in that squad giving you 4 markerlights which is enough to remove cover and boost the riptide's BS to 5.

Yeah, its designed to help me against the new tau and chaos daemons. Ill be playing a practice game against tau either today or tomorrow to test the validity.

Is skyray how much better than Ionhead? Im myself trying to find solution to my friends 2 riptides and this looks pretty solid. Maybe I will give it a shot. Cheers.

You could swap the tau for any other race, csm with a drake for instance, and still have the same list.

I would say your list is very solid but its the identical list everyone plays in tournaments (normally with a helldrake instead of tau).

If i owned a helldrake i could swap the tau side for it, but sadly i don't own one. I also feel that the riptide is more survivable than the helldrake, especially against tau.

I find a Riptide as useful as the Drake, more survivable, and it can kill a Riptide faster than the drake could lol.
