I saw a posting by MeanGreenStompa about people become DCM to be able to remove ads from the site and it made me realize that I have not seen an ad even after my DCM expired.
I do not see a means to enable or disable them in my profile any longer and they have not come back.

Is this intentional?

It seems I actually have to access the list of ads and peruse them deliberately to see DakkaDakka ads now.

Unless I am entirely missing something. . . .

You sure you don't have Adblock Plus enabled in your browser?

I am sure.
If I do not log in, I see them.

Sorry, should have included that originally; thanks Ouze.

What if you clear your cache?

If you disable adverts, then stop being a DCM they remain disabled. If you want them turned on again then just ask and I can do so. It is lazy coding on my part but only affects about 4 people so is not really worth the effort to fix.

Ok, no worries then, I can browse them.

I am a professional nit-picker and just wanted to make sure it was not a larger issue; I want to make sure you get the support.

Thank you kindly!

(Also, it's not "lazy coding", it's "efficient time management during software development" heh.)
