Hello all.

long time tau player here, and well, since the new book dropped, I have discovered a few uses for the krootox.

I have several of the old metal ones (still in blister) but to be honest, don't like the lack of variation in the models, and am looking for some alternatives.

(note: this is not about me being cheap, or trying to find cheaper alternative models - this is about me trying to find some that look different, or conversion ideas for the krootox).

I had maybe thought about some kind of cold one, or other dinosaur figure to put on a 40mm base, but most of those I have seen look more like calvary, than some kind of rearing beast.

I had seen a "gorilla" type krootox years ago, but have not been able to find any since.

Any ideas out there for a good krootox standin, or something I can convert?

I was thinking of using cold ones for kroot calvary if I ever wanted to do those, but might try for krootox.
