Lately, I've been trying to re-ignite my interest in my dark elder. I haven't been into them since 6th hit. They just didn't "feel" right. With the release of Eldar, I've tried to push myself back into a DE mindset. I took me a very long time to come up with a list I felt comfortable with. I would really appreciate some comments.

I have had almost zero luck running cc oriented DE. Wyches frequently get shot to pieces before getting into cc. Even when they do make it, they kill at most one other unit before being run down.

However, my jetbikes always do well. I run units of 6 with 2 caltrops and they are always flying over something. Warriors in raiders with night shields and splinter racks are great. I generally have groups of 2 working in concert on specific targets.

For AT sometimes blasterborn in a venom do great. Sometimes not. I haven't run triple ravagers yet, but will next week. The razorwing is pretty good AI but I've had more than a few games where it didn't show up until turn 4...

For a 2k point list I would take 5 units of 10 warriors in a raider with racks, night shields and flicker field. The 6th troop squad would probably be wracks as a bodyguard for the hq, unless I was taking the baron. I'd use hellions with him and go ahead with a 6th group of warriors.

After that I'd fill the heavy and fast slots. Either triple ravagers or two with a razorwing. The ravagers would all run DL.

Then as many reavers as would fit. The heavies and reavers will help on missions that allow those to be scoring. I *might* consider using vect but simply due to the 4+ steal on going first. This would be very important in relic but not so much in other missions.
