So I was reading through the new Eldar codex and I would just like a couple of clarifications, thanks guys!

1. Warlock power #2 Embolden/Horrify.

For Horrify it says: "All models in the target unit suffer a -3 modifier to Leadership." Does this mean that this is permanent!? It does not contain the clause "As long as this power is in effect." Like all other Warlock powers basically, so a permanent -3 modifier to leadership. Also, does this stack from one turn to the next? Also, if used in conjunction wiht Mind War doe this modifier affect the target's result? Just wondering.

2. Fuegan + Feel No Pain

So Fuegan gains the +1 attack and +1 strength whenever he suffers an unsaved wound, which can then be ignored by Feel No Pain. So if he keeps suffering wounds then passing Feel No Pain he could technically stay at 3 Wounds and have like 8 attacks and 8 strength? Just checking.

1. I would say that the power only lasts until the next eldar turn but until there is an FAQ we won't know for sure. I doubt it is cumulative though, as 40K doesn't have remains in play spells like fantasy does. Also I believe you can only be under the effect of a single malediction once at the same time (i.e. only one psyker with Horrify could cast it on a single unit).

As for Mind War, yes I would say that you could Horrify a target and then Mind War it. Not a bad tactic for dropping commanders and the like (especially those with no invuln saves).

2. Feel No Pain is not described as a save is it (as you can take it against things which allow no save like Jaws)? Therefore I would say yes, if he keeps passing FNP he gets the strength and attack benefits while still being at 3 wounds!

Again, I expect to see this FAQ'd though.

Thanks!

For the Terrify question I just think it's really odd that EVERY OTHER POWER has the exact wording of "As long as this power is in effect." to qualify the power lasts only a limited time, and Horrify is the only one that does not.

Maledictions have set durations in the rulebook. Once they expire the effect is removed by definition. " while this power is in effect" is redundant.

1 Horrify lasts until your next turn as described in the Malediction rules in the main rule book. Casting it multiple times will have a cumulative effect and will interact with other LD based rules. For instance an allied neural shredder, psychic scream or the as mentioned mind war.

2 Both FnP and that ability have the same trigger just like Lemartes. So yes if you kept passing FnP he could gain unlimited attacks/strength (to usual limit of 10).

Take the Magic: The Gathering 'What Color Are You?' Quiz.

Yes my Colour is Black but not for the reasons stated mainly just because it's slimming... http://imperiusdominatus.blogspot.com

Actually you can have more than 10 Attacks. Attacks and Wounds can go over 10.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

I've got a quick question.

Can I, or can I not, upgrade both Shuriken Cannons on a Falcon?!

I need to know so I can glue it together!

Technically you can, but I'm pretty sure that it is a mistake and will be FAQed. I would use magnets.

FNP says to treat the wound as saved. Therefore Fuegan did not take an unsaved wound.

Except he had to suffer an unsaved wound for FNP to trigger.

It's another one of those abilities like Force - which they finally ruled on.

But feel no pain treats it as being saved, if you are saying there is a break in suffering a wound and making a feel no pain test, then any one wound models that suffer a unsaved wound are dead and removed as they have zero wounds for that break, they would not be able to make a feel no pain roll.

Sure, but if the test fails and FNP is successful, then you treat the wound as saved, and, from that point on, we pretend the initial wound was saved.
