Well, with lots of different tactics for the eldar coming up, I thought I should share some ideas. These are for tau, but feel free to post Dark eldar stuff to, having eldar as allies or main force.

Using the warlock jetbike squad to give troops terrify, than fire pulse carbine fire into it.

Using the farseers doom in combination with twin flamer VRT crisis suits, possibly have a warlock throw extra armor on them

Put down missile sentry turrets and hide some pathfinders behind.

Tag team a wraithnight with suncannons and a riptide w/ heavy burst cannon

Run vespid with a jetbike farseer, laugh as meq die.

Now im not the best when it comes to tactics, but you guys probably have some better ideas

and 40k was like McDonalds - you could get it anywhere - it wouldn't necessarily satisfy, but it was probably better than nothing.

I like Tau as an ally with Eldar simply because Tau give the Eldar anti-flyer units which the Eldar sorely miss.

Also, railguns. Let me guess, 3 HYMP broadsides?

Well, for one the Warlock can only cast Protect on his unit, and is not an IC, so no 2+ Crisis suits.

If I were to take Tau, it would probably be pretty simple

Ethereal, one squad of Firewarriors, a Riptide with Interceptor+Skyfire and a HBC, and likely a small unit of Broadsides with HYMP and Interceptor/Skyfire.

However, I'm looking at keeping Eldar on their own right now. I think the only thing Eldar really need is better AA, but Nightwings/Warwalkers/Serpentlock may be all I need.
