So, I am working on adding some flyers to my army, and I am curious what you guys would suggest. I have had no interactions with 3rd party sites, but I know there are several options out there, ranging from Shrike conversion kits from Chapterhouse to Sky Slasher swarms from Forgeworld. I am rather curious, as I have considered even using Flyrant wings and Gargoyle wings for conversions.

I have seen Gargoyle wings on Warriors and it looks semi decent. Shrikes are ehh..... But Sky-Slashers!! Zomg O.P. unit of nastyness with spine fists and toxin sacs.

I just use the crappy little guys you get in gant boxes and call them sky-slashers since all the Forgeworld models and other parties are a bit exspensive for a swarm unit IMO.

The garg wings look a bit small on a warrior, but that is just my opinon.

I have had excellent service and results from both chapterhouse and fw, order what ever you think looks best.

Also made my own Hive tyrant wings, shown compared with FW warrior wings.

What do most of the moldings look like? Especially the Chapterhouse ones. If anything, I will wind up purchasing that Shrike kit, simply for the fact that it also can help me make a good looking Parasite of Mortrex. I'm new to the whole conversion and finecast side of things, and most times, I wind up visiting an old timer buddy of mine for help clean and set up my finecast so it looks at it's best.
