Hey all! Just restarting my eldar army, with the new book and all, and was wondering what you guys think I should load the crimson hunter exarch with.

In my very basic army I have a spirit seer, 5 wraithguard (cannons), 6 jetbikes, 6 banshees, a wraithfighter I converted from the DE flyer and of course the hunter itself.

Currently I have it loaded up with lances, for insta-killing the battlesuit I fight (my gaming group consists of Orks, Tau, Marines and Dark eldar), but I was wondering what you guy thought? As I already have solid anti-tank/everything in the form of the wraithguard (short ranged as they are)

Cheers!

The standard loadout is fine really.

If I don't have tanks to shoot at I often use Vector Dancer to attack infantry from the sides and/or snipe characters from them.

Don“t bother with starcannons. Lances are fine.

Has anyone posted the mathhammer on these guys? With the re-roll on the pen/glance and the option to boost the BS and/or swap guns I'm not sure what the best options are. Would be interesting to see how the numbers fall out.

I know my knee-jerk reaction is to just run them plain, no upgrades; but I'm cheap that way.

Normal gives on average 2.67 hits per volley.
Exarch gives 3.33 hits per volley.

25% damage increase for 20 points, but no extra survivability (apart from a good offence as defence). The question is whether you need the 25% or would it be overkill, and whether without the accuracy if the other one is 'good enough' and you have something more important to spend the 20 points on.
