I'm a former lurker and occasional poster on this forum and, after gaining two kids, i'm comming back from a hiatus from wargamming . . . slowly but surely.


I have a significant amount invested into 40k (IG, GK, Tau, and some Nurgle marines) I have a bunch of stuff that needs attention like 4 Valkyries NIB and the Tau army I traded for, and most of my books are out-of-date! so I'll probably be painting and modeling a bunch . . . may post pics eventually.

the last edition i really played heavily was 5th (i think) and my local GW (Westminster MD) closed down to make way for a new Hat store, so I have a few questions:

How does the newest edition treat my beloved IG?
Does the Tau codex hold up to other armies?
Is it my imagination or have prices skyrocketed? (I may just be more $$$ consious now)
