So I surf YouTube and various other outlets of media (particularly Awesome Paint Job, Les) but I wanted to see what the Dakka community had to say in response to my question:

What hasn't been done, what would people like to see?

Sometimes it feels like everything has been done already, perhaps I have overlooked something. Nonetheless, I wanted to see what you guys had to say.

How to do lighting and colored shading effects on very shiny metalics. I have seen a lot of people describe how to do it, but in practice its not very easy - as once you start putting other "shades" or transparents over chrome, its not as "chrome" any more.

I am specifically talking about exceptionally reflective metallics (like the Allclad types of paints).

Other useful tutorials would be:
* how to magnitize the wings on a hive tyrant.
* magnitize a land raider to be either an achillies or not.
* Magnitizing new tau broadside arms.
* camo patterns on space marine armor
* building an airbrush ventalition/filter station for indoors where you dont have a window or vent nearby
* scratch build old style GK psycannons for use on newer termie models.

There are a few ....

Maybe I just fail at youtube tutorial searching but I would like to see how a small rank and file model is done using an airbrush from the beginning and if this is useful or faster at all.

I also never see anything that really explains taping and the different types of tapes that are used for airbrushing.

I'd also like to see a tutorial on how to quickly paint models if you are in a time crunch and what details are best to leave out and what are best to include.

Instead of tape use silly putty. Les from awesome paint job said it works well and has a video with it. I find it to be quite awesome myselfz
