I know you can find most of the plastics for 15-20% off of GW retail, but are there any places that sell finecast models for cheaper? I'm looking for a thunderfire cannon, but its so bloody expensive.

Most of the fine cast are direct only. If a retailer wants them in their store, they don't get as much of a discount as they would other kits. So, you won't find many places that offer a "deep" discount on them like other kits.

I know they don't stock much in the way of Finecast; a lot of retailers don't due to the quality control issues that the material has had.
