This is a very close game between my dark eldar and my friends ork army. The mission was emperors will, with vanguard strike deployment.

Come about turn 3 I had pretty much given the dark eldar a write-off. But it was a lot closer, it's always interesting how a small unit like warriors in a venom can make such a difference by jumping out onto an objective right at the end. I've been caught out numerous times by those, distracted by larger units, then a small one nips in at the end. I would agree that the wyches and incubi weren't fantastic, and I wasn't really expecting a huge amount from them in this situation. What did surprise me were the trakks and kans, I felt they did a lot more in shooting than what they should of. Seemed like everything was a hit with them.

Rerolls and sheer waight of fire from the orks did make them irritatingly accurate. But I felt by almost pulling the game back itwasnt a total loss.

That was a sweet game of 40k, I love a game that starts one way but then changes up after a few turns. I really was unsure who had won when you said the game ended but firstblood got him the win. Still well played!

Check out my little ork story I am working on here!

Warlord traits: nothing useful. lol. When the army gets its codex, the warlord traits found within seem to end up replacing the underpowered garbage in the brb.

I totally forgot which traits we got but they didn't do anything. I agree the race spevufit ones are miles better.

Great battle. Orks and Dark Eldar are my main armies, so I really enjoy seeing them go at each other like this. Surprised at how close it came up. Managed to stay exciting the whole time though!
