I came up with this list having never fielded or even seen Grey Knights or Space Wolves fielded. I looked through both codex books and came up with some cool units to field. This list was built for fun and is not meant to take to tournies. I normally play against a cron player and our games have always been a blast. I normally play vanilla marines and this is just to shake things up a tad. Here's the list....let me know what you think...

I really wanted an all wolf ally. I think that would look awesome on the battle field. And yes I know the fenrisians can't take objectives. That's not their goal. Just added em as a cheap troop choice to provide extra wounds for Canis. This list is probably the furthest thing from competitive but it seems like a really fun list to play with. I don't care for win/loss records as long as I get a win here and there i'm happy. With lots of shooting, some instant death hand to hand, psykic powers, and a full fast attack ally....I have a feeling I'll be playing with a smile on my face the entire time, even if I lose. Thoughts? Comments?

I find canis wolfborn difficult to justify, hes just not worth his points cost. I'd take Arjac Rockfist instead, because he just kills... everything.

Unfortunately Arjac can't be mounted on a thunderwolf and can't make fenrisians troop choices. That would be AWESOME if he could though!!!

Your TWC are illegal. You can only take one special weapon. Take the Thunder Hammer. If you now have extra points, drop Storm Shield as well and then try to max out that TWC unit. I'd also try to max out the Fenrisian Wolves since they are dirt cheap and can screen your TWC and give Canis a place to hide.


Its a "for fun" army so there's only so much feedback one can give. Obviously, this isn't a terribly optimal means of playing with Space Wolves allies. Still, it'd be fun! But you need more Fenrisian Wolves.

The GK portion looks pretty decent minus the Grand Master. You are wasting his BS on the Orbital Bombardment and points on the warding staff. He will already have a 3++ in CC with just the sword and if you plan on having use the bombardment he should be back somewhere with line of sight.

OR if you really want the bombardment just use the Techmarine which will save you some points. With the points left over you can buy an Ordo Xenos Inquisitor with PA, Pskyer lvl 1, AND Rad Grenades.
