Does anyone know of any recommendations or sources that would outline how large a Tyranid Mycetic Spore model should be? Since there is not a model for such, I'm consider making one; however, am having a hard time finding suggested dimensions for it. I've seen a number of tutorials and am curious if there's specific dimensions I should target or just build whatever.

I use giant easter eggs as a base for the size. I stuff a couple of zones and a doom in them to test it out. I think of a a balled up tervigon and if it will fit, I'm good.

Big enough to fit in 15 gribblies, or one carnifex.

How long is a piece of string?
I think a good size like it has been said is about Easter egg sized, not so big it looks silly but not so small it takes the piss about how a carnifex can come out of something the size of a ping pong ball.
As long is it looks good and "realistic" i.e relative to the size of the stuff inside it should be fine to do whatever you want.

I'd say go by the picture giving in the codex and make it a bit bigger than a carnifex.

I have a peanut allergy. It's really inconsiderate.
"Long ago in a distant land, I, M'kar, the shape-shifting Master of Chaos, unleashed an unspeakable evil! But a foolish Grey Knight warrior wielding a magic sword stepped forth to oppose me. Before the final blow was struck, I tore open a portal in space and flung him into the Warp, where my evil is law! Now the fool seeks to return to real-space, and undo the evil that is Chaos!" |

Tell that the GW. 10 marines in a rhino? Get out of town.
Sarcasm aside, I agree, just use your instincts, and as there's no size given, you'll be fine as long as it isn't ridiculously small.
