I've come up with a list for an upcoming tournament. This tourney works a little differently than most, as it has a bunch of rules that strongly affect the composition of my list. These rules are ~ maximum one of any unit except troops, one less elite/fast/heavy slot than usual, no fliers, no forgeworld, bonuses for non-competitive or fluffy armies and rare units.

I love Nobz, because an elite Ork army just flies in the face of how they're typically played. So I reckoned this would be a suitable environment to bring out an all (or mostly) Nob list.

~3x Biker Nobz w/ two klaws
~10x Gretchin
~5x Flash Gitz w/ More Dakka, Led by Badrukk

Considering dropping the Gretchin for another MAN or Git. This would probably make the list weaker, but then I get to run a list of just 16 models. Doesn't get much more elite than that

The other thing I'm considering is dropping the Gitz and getting Lootas. That would be a good way to make the list stronger. It's all down to if Gitz can ever be anything but utter garbage - I don't want to run them if they're just going to suck and bring the game down for everyone involved.

Depends on whether the bonus for being non-competitive, fluffy and/or rare out weighs loosing. If there are no fliers and limits on FOC slots, I'd just run a trukk rush. 4x slugga trukks at 150pts each and 2x shoota trukks at 100pts each with a KFF mek and a unit of grots & big guns behind an ADL. Warlord - go for night fighting. Or ofc there is a straight horde. Kinda not like your original intent, but orks and elite aren't exactly synonymous.

I cannot see the flash gits doing much, they'll get perhaps 3-4 hits a turn with variable ap, so kinda weak I think. 3 biker nobs is also pretty lean so they have a chance to be shot off the board.
