Minecraft is a great game of construction. I see in it a way to replicate/create epic structures in 3D. The possibilities are limitless when it comes to create a map inspired by the universe of Warhammer 40k. My first project is presented in the video below, it's a Battlebarge (not at full scale of course!). There is a spaceport too, but less time was put on it.
The Battlebarge is 700 blocks long. There is near 100 rooms in it, including a cafeteria, a bar, two libraries, a market, a trophy room and a command bridge. It took me about 4-5 months to do it with Minecraft and MCedit.
I'm interested to see what other people did. So far, I saw a Ork Stompa, a Warlord titan, a full scale BattleBarge in construction and some spaceships from BattleFleet Gothic.

..but then the server I was admin on was hacked and the entire map had been obliterated
Well, it didn't have that much interior (only some sort of a machine room), so that helps.
Plus, I was an admin on that server, and there's always people that need your help, so the project had enough brakes to not get bored by it

I have a ~50% complete one on the old IC server, if someone ever updates the mods I used to take measurements and such I could rebuild it
btw: leth, if you want to do this online I have a manufactorum I am working on in the FTB server that you're welcome to spruce up, ive been meaning to start moving around the machine room(s) and spreading things out.

Wow man that is amazing! Loving the thunderhawk minigame as well.
1. Go to FLGS on a 40K game night.
2. Announce to no one in particular "I have over 10,000 points of Space Marines".
3. Sit back and watch as some 30-ish Neckbeard who still lives with his parents not only disputes your claim, but goes on to describe his 30,000 points of Blood Angels and how he has been playing since Rogue Trader days... And yet you will have never seen him either play 40K or that army.
4. From here, you have several options. Continue the conversation, or just end it. Either way, I guarantee you will waste 1+ hour of your life talking to this guy. Have fun!
