As we have a lovely new Eldar codex which has useful vehicle upgrades, those listed in Imperial Armour are out of date. So if I take a warp hunter do I have to pay Imperial Armour points for a holo field or Codex Eldar points.The rules for the holo field would revert to the codex as they aren't listed in the forgeworld book as far as I can see. Working from codex eldar would also allow access to a ctm which isn't in imperial armour

Any guidance on this till forgeworld faq it would be appreciated.

If the warp hunter is from an IA book than you should pay the IA upgrade cost I'd assume.

Price as listed in the entry for the unit you are purchasing it for.

Even if another unit gets something cheaper, you can not use that as justification to pay less then the cost listed. There are several situations where the writers have concluded that specific units should gain something cheaper then their counter parts, either to make that option more alluring or because of other factors we are not aware of. As we do not have access to the formula they use, we simply can not apply it to other units, even if we found some way to get pseudo-permission to do so.
