How do people. I'm contemplating painting my chaos cultists in either Russian or German ww2 colours but not sure on which to go for. Could you recommend any gw paints for either paint scheme?

Stormvermin fur for some of the grey areas, and loren green for the different greens. Khorne red as a base for some of the red areas on the russians. Possibly zhandri dust for some of the khaki areas. The cultists might be tricky to paint in this scheme because of their raggedness. Because they don't have a coherent uniform and are all patches and rags, it might be best sticking with a green and khaki alternating on the different rags for germans? Or for your russian troops I'd say go with stormvermin fur and a green of your choice, with very subtle dark red accents.

I don't know how this will work out but if done right I think it could look really nice. Post some test pics when you're done so that we can see.

Good Luck

Nazi themed armies are made to offend, that's why they are not allowed in some places like GW shops.
Your decision if you want to go that route. I wouldn't.

I'm not aiming to offend, if you read what I asked I never mentioned Nazis or running a Nazi army. I clearly asked about colours. To be honest if people are offended by them they are just narrow minded. I just think the colour scheme would work well, no bright colours and very little black. I just want a neutral colour I can dirty up.
