Subject: [video] [updated] Zenithal highlighting and Nadir shading
Hey everyone, this video is intended more to show you exactly how zenithal highlighting works rather than how to do it. I know that understanding how and why something works helps me a great deal so I hope that this does the same for you. Enjoy!

Thanks for the explanations and demo on the two highlights, doing the opposite to demo it was a great idea. Like you said the contrast is easier to see what is actually happening when you do apply the technique.

Thanks for the videos, they certainly are a good demonstration.
I do have one question. Are these two techniques something that can/should be used in unison? Or are they mutually exclusive in a sense? There seemed to be quite a bit of overlap in where the sprays ended up, especially in the 45 degree sprays.

If you took out the 45 degree angle on each technique and instead made it at a steeper angle, then you could use them both in conjunction while preserving much more of the midtone.
